Connect the power cable, audio and video cables. In most of the cases audio cable wouldn’t be necessary except if you need the sound of the region to be monitored. Once all the cable connects are established, a primary check for the circuit continuity can be checked. Extend the cable to the DVR connected to a computer. If you are using PC tower, you can install DVR directly to PC. You can also view the video feed in TV by plugging the cable using AV cable to TV.

Configure your system for just preview of video or for continuous recording of video. Usually, surveillance is attached to computer as it offers automatic detection mechanisms.
